Prophetic Musings

Thoughts from a small-town, old-fashioned guy living in the suburbs.

Handling disappointment
Nothing like a good disappointment to really jump start your weekend. A project I've been wanting to start but just haven't had the time to do seems to have been stillborn. Another company has jumped in to the area I was going to try and create interest in and will have first-to-market advantage. This leaves me with one of two choices:
  1. Give up and spend my time doing something else, though I really don't know what it might be.
  2. Continue with the project and try to have a better product, though people will have already spent their money on the competing product in the original area.
This making sense to everyone? I don't care, it makes sense to me. I'm not sure what to do currently. I'll pray about it and see where it leads me. It's really kind of a crushing defeat because I thought that this would be an excellent area to start out in. Oh well, guess it's time to reconcentrate somewhere else.
